On June 5, 2001, we received official approval as a company-affiliated research institute from the Korea Industrial Technology Association and are conducting the following research activities.

New product development

Development of market competitive new products such as wafers, waffles, cereal bars and complex products

Wafers

Unlike conventional wafers containing wheat flour that may cause allergy, Samah International has developed wafers made of rice flour and potato starch.

Waffles

This soft waffle coated with sweet chocolate has been developed in cooperation with Glico, the third-largest confectionery company in Japan, and exported to it. Now, it is popular in the Japanese market.

Bars

Samah International is developing a new concept of well-being products that suggest a healthy lifestyle as nutritional supplements, such as cereal bars, diet bars, and protein supplements.

Biscuit

Samah International exerts all efforts to satisfy the taste of consumers by developing various types of snacks, such as sticks, pretzels, and cookies.

New brand development

Planning new confectionery brands that can lead the future market, such as functional labeling foods
